Lost Password email has no password.

The new password should reach you in a separate email shortly. ??

Hi, i’m also having a few problems.
I can log into my forum and edit it fine but I wanted to change the theme and I have to log in to wordpress to do this. When I press login and enter my username and password it either says ‘Incorrect Password’ or ‘Login doesn’t exsit’

I tried different logins such as this one I’m using now to post a comment and also my forum editing one, but neither worked.
Please can you help?

@bentoms: Perhaps you could clarify a few things in your post.

You mention that you can edit your posts… but doesn’t that require you to be logged into WordPress?

If you can’t switch themes once you are in WP, perhaps you are logging in as a non-Admin user with a reduced level of permissions.

Usually, when logging onto WP, there is an option to click for “lost password”. The password for the username associated with the email address you enter will be reset and emailed to you. You can then use that new password to login. Make sure to use the email address associated with the Admin (if you are the Admin) if you want to reset the Admin password and log in as the Admin.

I never received a password. I have tried multiple times and only get the same thing.

Are you running 1.2 ?
