I can’t use any of those methods considering I can’t get in and the only way I’ve ever logged in is through the wordpress login site.

Those methods do not require you to login – you WILL need to use another way of accessing the site (FTP, phpMyAdmin). Do you have those set up with your hosting company?

Where is your site hosted? Ask them for help with this – they may also be blocking login access – as a result of brute force attacks on servers many hosts tightened login security in recent months.

I’m having the same problem. The site is hosted through Godaddy and the email for the admin is set to a 3rd party who created the site.

I reset the password but it’s going to their email account and he isn’t responding.

can I use FTP to reset the email and/or password
