Lost password, email retrieval not working

I have tried several times to log into the admin of my site and each time it has told me my password is not correct (which is the same I used for my bluehost and what I wrote down). I have also tried the Lost my Password but have never received my email with the new password. The options listed in the previous post on this for some version 2.something do not seem applicable since I can’t get into my admin in the first place. There is no email to contact wordpress to resolve the issue so I hope someone can help! thanks.
