Lost PDF poster image files redux

On the Photo info page, near the bottom you can see something like:

Can you give me this info for a ‘wrong’ item?

Yes, here are the 3 lines for an item missing the poster file.

There are only 3 lines there. Missing appears to be “Display file url:”

Just to be sure:
Uploading a new one works using iMagick?

I just uploaded a test PDF file and it works just fine. ImageMagick plugin is installed and activated.

Pls do the following:

1. Download https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-photo-album-plus.7.6.07.006.zip
2. install as described here: https://wppa.nl/docs-by-subject/development-version/
3. If you were not uptodate with wppa, run Table VIII-A1: Setup.
4. Go to a faulty item on the Photo Albums -> Album Admin -> Edit -> Manage photo information screen, and press the button: Remake files.
5. Reload the page. (Maybe not simply refresh, but re-open like above)
6. Verify you have now 4 links and they all work as expected.

If everything correct:
7. Run Table VIII-A11: Remake, to remake them all.

If any problems, tell me.

Hi Jacob,

I uploaded the development version and ran the test as suggested. It worked just fine. Now I am running the chron job. It has been running for several hours and looks like it will be done soon. I will report on the success. Feeling very good about this.

Nice to hear that it worksd for you!

I just discovered that things are still going wrong when one does not have imagick on board, so i recommend you to update to the next release version as usual.

BTW: You do not need the imagick plugin, because wppa uses the servers external imagick command convert directly. The plugin for imagick is just an interface for regular wp madia to use the php imagick class.
