• Thanks for a great plugin! Works almost flawlessly for me.
I’m getting some weird behaviour when restoring a backup to a fresh domain. It happens to be using a child theme of Storefront.

One particular plugin “Participants Database” (PDB) is losing its admin settings when restoring to a fresh site.

However, if I install PDB first onto the fresh site/domain, then use WPVivid to Restore my entire site backup… it works perfectly.

It is essentially then updating the PDB plugin at that point.

However, this is an extra step I’d love to avoid.

Is this a glitch in your plugin?
    Thank you.

    Hi,

We are glad to know you find it useful.

If the plugin settings is stored in database, its settings wouldn’t be lost in your target site, because the database of target site will be completely replaced with the original one in migration process. In order to reproduce the issue you encountered, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with a download link of your source site backup and a screeshot of PDB admin settings via email (support[a]wpvivid.com).

After that, we will try to figure out the issue.

    Regards.
