Lost share counts, how to edit or restore?

  • This plugin was updated and the site converted to mutlsite, and then we’ve recently noticed that all the share counts for all posts was reset to zero, causing an issue for the site owner, since she had quite a lot of counts and traffic, and now it looks like her site previously had no traffic/shares.

    Is there a way to restore the counts? Are they stored in the WordPress database somewhere? The permalink structure and post URLs haven’t changed.

  • Same issue here; I uninstalled it or deactivated it because I upgraded to 3.5 Now that i have re-activated it, I have zero likes. This is a big problem for our client.

    We changed servers, but the url has remained the same. Please give us an update on this.

    This sharebar just reset my facebook shares to 0….any anwers?

    I’m having this same issue with a site. Sharebar Version 1.2.5. I noticed if you click like again then it will update the Facebook likes back to the count they were. Clicking like across hundreds of posts is not practical though. Any solutions on this yet?
