Lost slideshow menu item

  • Hi Tom did you update any plugins, theme or did this occur after you upgraded to WordPress 4.1?

    I didn’t update anything but I had installed some plugins. I have found that when I deactivate the plugin Free Counter, the dashboard slideshow menu item returns and when I activate Free Counter the slideshow menu is gone. Must be some sort of conflict between slideshow and Free Counter?
    You know of a fix?

    Hi Tom that is a question that you have to ask the developers of that plugin. For now you will have to decide which one is more important to have active.
