    Hi guys,

I made the genius mistake of installing both Global Hide Admin Toolbar and Global Hide Admin Toolbar Bruteforce and now have disabled and removed them from the installation and I seem to have lost my toolbars. I tried to reinstall Global Hide Admin Toolbar to attempt to renable it with no luck, i also reinstalled 4.2.4 with the same result.

any help to renable the toolbar would be appreciated.

note: i installed brute after i install basic one since it didn’t seem to work for guests and only logged in users (i’m using BuddyPress).

If you have reinstalled WordPress 4.2.4 and reset database this is not possible.

I didn’t say I reset the Database, I simply did a reinstall of the 4.2.4 as I’ve already made a number of changes.

Is this the only way to resolve the issue? a wipe and load?

woah there… no need to get all bunched up

I was simply looking for a solution that does not involve me having to restart everything from the beginning. Obviously there isn’t one.

And yes, this issue does exist… (I assume that’s what you meant) as disabling/uninstalling your add-on does not resolve the issue. (Note: I made no custom changes to wordpress outside of installing some plugins (from market) and adding user content).

But don’t worry, I’ll make sure to avoid any plugins that you create in the future.

    Thanks for the help.

Looking at the plugin code, I would try deleting the active_plugins row in the wp_options table and fully deleting the plugin. It’s weird, but looking at it, I think function ghatb_bfp_1st() is possibly what’s up.

There’s no other DB change, so once it’s deleted, that should be it.

    That did it!

    Thank You!

ghatb_bfp_1st() function is not related to this issue.

This function is for another batch.

THE INSTRUCTION FOR THIS PLUGIN ARE: DO NOT ENABLE AT THE SAME TIME STANDARD AND BRUTEFORCE PLUGIN

If you have disabled and deleted all two plugins, this issue is not possible, the plugin auto clean all your options when disabled, removed, deleted …

IMHO is related to bad caching method used …

P.S. The tag “modloock” was added by me, for the bad response of this member, but the moderators are always against me.

is there any other way to fix this issue,
i cleared the table but then had to go back and reactivate the plugins,
the issue surfaced after the first reactivation.

I repeat: this problem does not exist!

The function ghatb_bfp_1st() need for another task, and it has nothing to do with Admin Bar or Toolbar. Who knows better than me that i wrote it, and invented?

The solution is to be found elsewhere, not in this plugin.

    Which plugin you activated:

    Global or Bruteforce?
    Or you have activated both?

    Thanks!
