  • what tweaking did you do? Was it to your theme? A Plugin?

Try re-uploading a fresh copy of your theme.

I’ve been using TwentyTen. I made changes to my loop.php and category.php but I’ve since updated them back to their original code.

I also had an issue with all of my archive posts showing up bold but that somehow fixed itself when I restored those two original files but still no titles.

I don’t really want to reload everything as I’ve done quite a few changes and I’m not good enough at all of this to remember exactly what I’ve done. I’ve been diligent about saving an original of my .php or .css files and a copy of the changes I make so I’m kind of stumped.

You shouldn’t be editing the Twenty Ten theme at all. Your changes will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress or the theme. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations.

Okay, I’m going to try to do that but how to I re-upload a fresh copy of my theme?

    Thanks, for all the help!

I did reload all of the original files but it still didn’t fix my title issue. Hopefully reloading the theme will.

Do I need to delete the TwentyTen theme that is currently at /thehumanpacifier.com/wp-content/themes or will it just overwrite it?

I’d suggest deleting the current version and then uploading a fresh copy.

Thank you, I deleted & re-loaded and now have my titles back! Now, to figure out this child theme stuff!

    Thanks again,

    Victoria
