Lost Username, NOT password – Help!

    OK, I just had to install Firefox again and it doesn’t remember my password.

    I have a trusty system for every other login, but er, not this one.

    So when I clicked “Forgotten Password” – (there wasn’t a link for lost username) it asked me for my Username OR email address!

    Well, I forgot my username and I have several different WordPress accounts with the SAME EMAIL.

    They’re just going to send me new passwords for everything, aren’t they?

    And it’s the USERNAME I need!!

    Any ideas how to get my username, or a new one?

    PS it’s not the same as the nickname – I tired that.

    Now I’m getting emails from WP that make no sense.

    They are teling me my username is eg: XYZ (which is what I was typing in!)

    and they give me a link (to change password) that just takes me back where I started! (the wrong password link)??

    If you have server or hosted account access, you can look at the wp_users table in your wordpress database to identify your username.

    Forget it – I had the right username AND password to begin with!

    But now I have a new password. Panic pver.
