lost website and dashboard

    Please Help!…..Hi, I am a beginner working with rainbow trance theme, have been trying to get rid of right sidebar (advertisement, catagories) not listed in widgets, I see others on forum with the same problem but no solution i understood
    so tried playing with the html code in editor and have completely lost site and cannot access dashboard
    (I cannot read html but have played a little with it and made minor changes)

    this is what it reads when you log on to my site https://www.modernconfidence.com

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘, expecting ‘)’ in /home1/modernd0/public_html/wp-content/themes/rainbow-trance-10/functions.php on line 12

    can anyone advise

  • Re-upload a fresh copy of the theme.

    yes thanks for that….how ever I have already got the info, need to change name of theme in FTP first then dashboard is accessable and then can delete old theme and re-upload
