• When I originally set up my website, I believe I changed some settings some where so I just had one main piece of content on the page. Now I would like to enhance my main page by putting multiple articles. I’ve searched for answers, but am completely frustrated. How can I add widgets(?) to my home page to make it more interesting? I’ve tried going into widgets, but all I see is just a footer link. I also added page builder, but still can only see one area for text. Can you please help?
    Thanks!

    – Is this a brand new install or an update?
    – Are you on a local server or hosting on a remote server? If on a remote server, have you discussed this issue with your webhost?
    – What theme are you using?
    – Have you installed any plugins?

Thanks for the response Tara. I’ve had the page for over a year now, so not a new install. I believe I recall removing widgets when I originally set up the page. I’m with blue host. I’ve tried various themes, including twenty fourteen. I have installed plugins…page builder, meta slider, etc. It seems to me that I did something in the beginning to remove the widgets. Now I can’t get them back.

If you look at my page, https://www.longlastingcars.com, there is a lot of white space on the home page. I’d like to fill that up with more info/articles and future ad space. I believe I’m looking for more widgets, but maybe it’s a different item?

What happens when you switch to the default theme WITH All plugins deactivated?
