    Hello,

    Since the last update, i have a lot of problems with site kit, using it on Wp multisite with 18 sites :

    • the dashboard show 0 unique user on all selected period (while i hve visitor i can see on analytics)
    • For some site of the MU : there are visitors, but number is different from google analytics
    • The “Top content over the last 28 days” on Wp dashboard is providing error, with 0 pageviews, and url like :
      • (unknown) /
      • (unknown) /s=onePage
      • ()unknown /s=anotherPage

    I reinstalled the whole extension, updated the network twice, the problems is still here, it’s like a totally broken extension right now.

    Thanks for reaching out @jermilbfc, and sorry to hear you’ve been encountering problems with Site Kit since updating. So we can determine more on this, please share the following:

    1. A recording of your Site Kit dashboard on one of these impacted sites, where it shows zero data within the Site Kit dashboard but when you click on the link to Analytics within the dashboard, it shows you data on analytics.google.com. You can use a service such as Loom or RecordIt to share a screen recording, while using the same form previously used to share this privately.?
    2. Your Site Health information from the same network site you used for the recording above. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.??
    3. Did this only start to occur immediately after upgrading to Site Kit 1.98.0?

    Once we determine any issue with reporting, we can then work on the issue you’re seeing with “unknown” referenced URLs on your site. I suspect this may be due to either auto generated pages or pages that no longer exists. Feel free to open a separate support topic for this specifically if you wish to troubleshoot at the same time.

    I answered the forms.

    More infos i’m discovering :

    • UA analytics dashboard return 0 views !!
    • For the same proprety : i have view on GA4 dashboard

    I dont know what a hell is going on with google analytics between UA and GA4, it’s was supposed to be easy and automatic since i configured GA 4.

    Thanks for the update @jermilbfc. I’ve checked the details you kindly shared and it looks like the dashboard you’re referring to is the Site Kit widget on the main WordPress dashboard as opposed to the Site Kit dashboard tab itself. Is this correct?

    As suggested above, so we can determine more on this would it be possible for you to share a recording of what you see on the main Site Kit dashboard and then from using the?link to Analytics?on that page? I say so because this link will direct you to a similar report on analytics.google.com, and we can then more easily compare. You did share a screenshot, but this was only from the widget on the main WordPress dashboard.

    I also checked the site from your Site Health information using the tagassistant.google.com service and I can see that visits are recording in Analytics, for both Universal Type Analytics and Google Analytics 4 properties. Once we have a recording of what you’re seeing we can try to determine more on what’s happening within Site Kit.

    As you can see, from middle of March, the views slowly reach 0.

    Thanks for sharing these additional insights. Based on the screenshot of the link from analytics.google.com there is zero traffic for the connected Universal Analytics property on analytics.google.com also (for the past 28 days). This indicates that this this isn’t specific to Site Kit, as Site Kit pulls this information from analytics and displays it within the Site Kit dashboard. Your Analytics dashboard (from analytics.google.com) doesn’t have any UA traffic since 14th March based on what I’m seeing in your screenshot).

    From the checks I’ve been performing on your site there is a Universal Analytics snippet recording at present, so if you like we can check this to ensure my visits to your site are recording tomorrow (The Analytics reporting API looks at data up to the previous day). I say this as it’s possible the snippet didn’t exist or wasn’t functioning for the past few weeks for some reason.

    Rather than waiting you can also check the analytics real time report, over on analytics.google.com (for the connected Universal Analytics property).

    We’ll see tomorrow. Right now, i have always 0 visitors in realtime monitoring in UA (and i checked multiples times before opening this issue).

    But i have visitor in RT in GA4…

    Good call, let’s check tomorrow! Note that with regards real time traffic, you may wish to check your site while not logged in. The default configuration of Site Kit is to not include logged in traffic.

    I know, i’m using another browser/allowing cookies. The situation is really weird, or i’m missing something about what did Google with GA4 migration.

    I’m just following up with you to check do you see any traffic on your site at present, on either the Site Kit dashboard or when checking analyitcs.google.com? Please check both cases and let me know.
