Lot's of bugs

Sure I have a desire to make more money. I only earn ￡400-￡500 per month right now and have done for the last 2 years. I don’t drive, have a car to drive and I’ve not been on a holiday since I was a kid.

Too right I want more money lol

But all the evidence is there to show I know I need to work for it, because I am. Here is the video for the new feature I’ve not long created and said I was going to post here.

I plan to make directory and indexing far more advanced for ECI in terms of data importing features.

I also plan to create a plugin that does this and it will be more about the manual users.

Finding a lot of users not using PHP 5.3 and that is causing problems.

I’ve got 2 new users to my hosting services as a result of their hosting causing issues over it i.e. charging a fee to switch. That is just madness.

Anyway. I’ve released new versions quickly over the past few days with lots of improvement. I wrote up a post regarding switching PHP versions so please check that if your having trouble just in case that is the cause.

The next version of my CSV importer plugin will display a notification warning the user about using an older PHP version.

Hi Ryan i install php 5.3 is easy but for my is impossible to post all file csv the plugin post only 100 or 300 the full speed is setting:
Reduce Time (seconds) 60 seconds
Event Delay 60
Create # 100
Import # 100
Update # 100
Is correct? what is the best setting ? the file csv have 7000 rows but plugin post only 100 or 300 no more

Hi Marco

That issue is usually caused by a row having incorrect number of commas. Check the 101th row and ensure that it is valid.

Or if your server might be processing slow or your blog slow and your hitting the servers processing time limit. That is normally 30 seconds.

I’m busy working on the new plugin while juggling ECI also. The new plugin will be far better, already has a much nicer interface.

Event Delay 60
Create # 300
Import # 300
Update # 100

Post only 300 and no more the problem is not in 101th row if setting 400the plugin pos 400 and no more i have hostgator vps server and install php 5.3 i don’t no bicouse the plugin not post all 7000 rows i tink if i setting to 7000 the full speed the plugin post 7000 but in this setting take all time machine is not good.
I tink the plugin take 100 post 100 after take other 100 and post 100 take other 100 post 100 total 300 en go to all rows

You are confirming the plugin will create thousands of posts, meaning the main functionality at least is not effected.

300 is obviously very specific, so it is also a strange issue. I’ll look into it further now that you have also confirmed the issue and that your file is normal. I’ll need to sleep on this. I can’t think where in the plugin it would stop at 300 and not continue.

Unless, are you using the free edition?

I know Marco is a premium user.

Marco, have you possibly overwritten the full edition with the free?

Hi Ryan the version is 6.4.4 yes i install free version last day but is my error.
Naw i install the correct premium version I LIKE THIS PULUGIN.
the plugin run only when i setting:

Reduce Time (seconds) 60 seconds
Event Delay 120
Create # 9999999
Import # 9999999
Update # 9999999

Run plugin and post all rows nice but take all memory and all time machine cpu
But if i setting :

Reduce Time (seconds) 60 seconds
Event Delay 60
Create # 300
Import # 300
Update # 100

run only 300 post and not go in the next event time.
I setting my vps server to max_execution_time 6000 second
and max_input_time 6000 second but this is not good for server.

I have just realised you are using Multi-File Project. How many files are you merging together?

I’m about to do some work on it.

I spent time on this issue already and thought I fixed it.

This must be happening when you create the project. The titles from all of your files are not being merged together into one list/array so that is what I’m testing now.

You can create a project then check if the titles are in…

$csv[‘format’][‘titlesmulti’] by opening the $csv panel in the footer, you’ve been using the plugin for a while so I’m sure you know how to do that.

As fun as this thread has been (not) I think maybe the term “Easy” should be removed/replaced in title. It’s not because I can’t figure it out, but it just seems not to fit the intention as outlined in this thread.

Maybe the term “better” or “incredible” might be a good fit. I’m just diving into this thing and it’s huge which rarely translates to “easy” in my experience. Anyway keep up the good work. You’ve got a sale if it works as expected.

Yes that is one thing I cannot deny at this stage. I want to create a plugin that is worth using to auto-blog. Most of these plugins are not worth buying.

Why?

They will make a blog much the same as any other user. So if the plugin is truly “Easy” it is because it does everything for you and probably does the same thing for everyone.

Most people don’t want that when they are paying for it. My new plugin planned for release in 2012 will be easier however but still be advanced. The interface won’t be so heavy going, a lot of it can be hidden when not required and processing is far more efficient. A years worth of feedback is going into it.

Even just installing my new plugin is an experience like no other plugin I’ve found. It communicates everything that is going on, smoothly and in an attractive way.

I won’t be calling it “Easy” anything but it will be far easier than Easy CSV Importer ??

The file csv from CJ, Shareasale, and google network but i use CJ is more adattable .
2- Problem question is in CJ have affiliation datafeed to over 100mb have file datafeed csv go to 200 or 600 mb but the plugin not accept this or is bicouse is my vps setting i change?
Ryan i like your pulgin but i tink is important support for the client.
If i change the setting vps please write me how i change for exemple i change time execution file up to 12.000 second, this is not good for vps but the plugin post all rows in the blog and setting the second exemple full speed.

Still working on the plugin.

Good to know your using some of the latest things added Marco. I think I was the first to create the ability to use multiple files. I will perfect the idea in the new plugin better than ECI I think because I can factor it in from the beginning.

People are saying Easy CSV Importer has bugs, when I look into it most of the time it is in advanced features very few people use. So I’m happy with that right now, that is what refunds are for. I don’t want to give refunds because I’m still offering to provide a newer and better plugin in future but I won’t refuse either.

Currently working with SOAP for the new plugins API. It is to have better support services.

I’m hoping to release a new version of ECI tomorrow
