I have tried 4 players over the past couple of days to simply play an MP3 audio file on my WP site. All I get is the code appearing or a link to the code. I just want a player to appear and the ability to click a play button. Seems simple enough, but its a no go.
Any advice would be appreciated.

The above link is suppose to turn into a MP3 player with
WP Audio
Xspf_player
Audio player
and I think one other.
I can’t imagine this is suppose to be this difficult.

I have followed the instructions and am still getting the code only.
Do you have anything further you can see that I am doing wrong besides giving me a link. (I have already reviewed those links).

I just read your other post. After reading the thread yesterday I did ad <?php wp_head(); ?> to the header. Still no luck.
Just to be sure my header tag is coded like this “<?php wp_head(); ?><head>”

I will post the first few lines in case this helps (or was implemented wrong)

Also, I here is the link for accessing the test audio file I have directly. I believe if you look at the link structure it is in the root directory.

This how I am placing the audio link on my page (hoping it will turn into a MP3 player.

Actually, this; <?php wp_head(); ?> should go just before the closing tag </head>. Your example places it before the opening tag. You should probably undo your edit to header.php as long as the hook is already present. The first thing I noticed on your site is that all the requests to audio-player.js and player.swf, are returning a 404. Not found. I don’t think the plugin is correctly installed.

This is an example of one of the 404 errors:

//tjuan1.worldvoicemedia.com/wp-content/plugins/audio-player/audio-player.js

It isn’t there. The path should probably actually be:

//tjuan1.worldvoicemedia.com/wp-content/plugins/audio-player/assets/audio-player.js ..but I don’t see it there either.

Review the plugins installation instructions and make sure it is properly installed. Your slideshow.css also returns a 404 error.

This link by the way, https://tjuan1.worldvoicemedia.com/audio/nbc.mp3 ..is good. Your mp3 played with no problem for me. I think you just have an installation issue. Best wishes!
