Lots of draft articles “tmptitle”

    My WordPress has not been posting articles for the past few days. No one is getting ready to submit articles. In other words, no drafts have been created.
    But there are more than 400 draft articles named “tmptitle”. And there are more than 400 duplicates of the same images used in previous posts.

    That image is the one I wrote about in another topic I created.
    When a user submits an article via email with an image, the article is not submitted, but only the image is stored in WP. That stored image is then massively duplicated.

    Is this also triggered by WwrdPress 6.0.3 that caused the problem?

    Not resolved.
    The issue of no submissions and the issue of mass generation of tmptitle are two separate issues.

    The subject of this topic is the mass creation of tmptitle simply because Postie is in an enabled state.

    Is Delete email after posting set to Yes? If not Postie will import the same email over and over again.

    If yes, then please install the support addon and follow the directions for capturing and submitting logs.

    Same here. Lots of “tmptitle” with content “tmpPost”.

    Manually triggering “Process Email” produces error message: “There Has Been a Critical Error on Your Website.”

    Changing to PHP 7.4 fixes the issue.

    Looks like problems are caused by using PHP 8 or higher. Please fix urgently, PHP 7.4 is about to be deprecated.

    Seems to be issue with addon “HTML Cleaner”. Download “HTML Purifier Lite” and replace inside of “/wp-content/plugins/postie-addon-html-cleaner/”

    There is an update to HTML Cleaner that resolves this issue. Should automatically show in your plugin list.
