Can you enable debug and provide the results?

Are there any listings in your server’s error log?

In regards to your comment about how to get support to respond, to be honest, I try to respond to threads that have enough information to make a solid guess as to the issue. Debugging various server configurations and whatnot can be really time consuming. Additionally, when our primary projects are a bit backed up (Jetpack and WP Job Manager in my case), WPSC does get a bit of a backseat.

Absolutely not ideal and WPSC should get more love, but that’s the current reality. We do try to provide a good, solid, free plugin, without upsells or anything like that.

Hey Brandon, I’m seeing the same “Preload may have stalled” issue, but probably only once a week. They’re a genuine error, as I’ve visited my website on more than one occasion to find it ‘dead’, and a “Preload Cache Now” was needed to fix it.

I have enabled logging, but not sure where to look in the log file. (I run a technical blog, so there are no shortages of the word “error” in there!).

Can you give me any pointers? Is the logging in UTC or my local time?

I’m only seeing around 5 hours of timestamps in the current log, so suspect last night’s restart isn’t captured – or the process of the restart flushes the log.

FYI, I’m running Super Cache 1.4.7 under WP 4.4.1 – on Azure.

    Thanks,

    Greig.
