I cannot find much documentation that applies to Neve FSE. Most solutions and docs are for Neve which has access to the Customizer. But Neve FSE has a great look and feel right out of the box. Can you point me to the full documentation for this theme? I’m having trouble with the following:

    1. setting the site icon
    2. finding global styles for buttons and elements
    3. setting a content width that works for BOTH the Group element in Otter blocks as well as the Container element of Spectra.

Upon switching to the theme, I was confused that much of the home page was defined in the home page template. I didn’t understand why the banner and much of the home page content seemed to be part of the template for the home page, rather than in the home “Page” itself.

Is this theme supposed to only work with Otter Blocks or are other block plugins supposed to work also, such as Spectra?

I’m considering switching back to the Neve theme and then trying to make the site look and feel like Neve FSE.

    About me:
I’m a WordPress Developer and website designer. I’m happy to contribute any way I can to writing documentation and putting free resources out there. You can explain everything as technically as you like. I will understand. I appreciate your work on this and I want to make it work better. Neve FSE has lots of potential and in general runs great on my site.

I’m going to add more comments to this thread of more things I cannot figure out how to do easily (which are common in other themes).

    Hello @jrevillini,

Thank you for using Neve FSE and for providing such a detailed feedback on it!

Here is the theme’s documentation page and here is a list with some guides that apply to all our FSE themes.

Regarding the block plugins compatibility, the theme should work with any plugin that offers blocks, but Otter blocks should provide the smoothest experience with Neve FSE as it’s also developed by us.

For now, the FSE themes are in an early stage of development and the experience is completely different compared to a classic theme.

Feel free to create another topic for any issues you may encounter!

    Best regards,

    Irinel
