Lots of Uses & Options

I was primarily looking for a simple terms & definitions plugin when I stumbled upon this plugin. While the free version is rather limited, it still provides a number of options that provide a great deal more functionality than the simple solution I was looking for.

The additional features, however, inspired me to expand upon my initial idea. As a result, I did upgrade to the pro version. The pro-version is rather up there in price, especially considering some of the other plugins I use, but it fills a need.

Features & utility aside, I am rather annoyed that in order to continue getting updates, you have to essentially purchase the plugin again each year. I certainly understand, and support, the idea that developers of themes & plugins put a great deal of time & effort into developing, maintaining & supporting their products. I also realize that if we, the consumer of that product, expect regular updates, new features and access to support resources, than we have to be willing to provide compensation for these expectations. However, almost every plugin that I have purchased provides a substantial discount for update renewals that is well below the initial purchase price of the product.

That said, I also have the right to not choose if I want to purchase a product or not and accept the terms, but it would still be nice to have some consideration as a loyal consumer. In this case, like it or not, there isn’t any other solution that provides the same set of features, quality of code, and usability.
