Love and hate this plugin

  • This is indeed a very useful plugin. I both love it AND I hate it.

    I LOVE it for that I can save important info internally on the admin pages. In WP 5.6 and WP 5.7 the page is no longer published in the side menu, so the only way to see it is to go to the plugin itself.

    I HATE it for that it is suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper slow and it has been so for so long too! It slows down the entire site when I try to access it, I don’t know if other users are affected too or if it is only the admin user. What are you guys doing??? It is extremely slow. It must be one of the slowest ever plugins. No idea what is happening though.
    If it wasn’t for this I would give this plugin a 5 star rating. Now I give it a 4 star rating.

    PLEASE fix the terrible speed + that WP 5.6+ doesn’t show the page on the black side menu to the left anymore.

    If you encounter the problems described, please try to follow the next steps:

    1) Activate a default WordPress theme for a while (Twenty Nineteen or Twenty Twenty) and check if the problem remains.
    2) Deactivate all of your plugins except custom-admin-page and also check if the problem is still present. If it is not, activate the plugins one-by-one, meanwhile checking, after which plugin activation the problem appears again.
