• This was just what I needed for my blog, popups when and where I need them, quickly and easily. No more sending someone off my pages! Also popups can be saved, so I can reuse them in various posts with no need to recreate.

This is easy to install, easy to use, and the support is amazing. Thank you!

Thanks, I actually did put up a support question about editing the links for usability in emails. Not a big deal, just was curious.

@debbiet – Can you link it, not finding it in the forums.

Weird, I can’t find it either. The post link shows up in my profile, but when I click it’s empty. Here’s the link: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/emailing-post-with-popups?replies=0

My question was that I’m using Postmatic to send new posts to subscribers and naturally the Popup links don’t work in the emails. I was curious if I could edit the popup URL, or even if that would make sense. I realize the popups won’t open in the emails, the reader would be taken to a web page. It’s not a big issue for me right now, I don’t have many subscribers, but I was just curious.

Can you start a new ticket and we can work out a solution. When you say popup links do you mean like a site.com/popup/popup-123 link? Popups themselves are not meant to be public with a forward facing url. That said our advanced targeting conditions extension allows you to trigger popups when say the url contains ?special=123 only.

To see this in action go to our site https://wppopupmaker.com. You will get nothing on first load.

Now go to https://wppopupmaker.com?ref=6 ( the url we redirect to from the previous version of Popup Maker called easy-modal.com ) and you will get a welcome notice that tells about the branding change etc.

Okay I re-posted my question. I followed your two links above, the first one just took me to your web site, the second brought up a Page Not Found.

But yes, I guess a “forward facing url” was what I was thinking–I’m not very technical, didn’t have the words for it.

Don’t worry about it, enjoy your Sunday!
