• I hate giving bad reviews and I usually go out of my way to find nice things to say… but I’m frustrated.

    I LOVE the WCFM platform as it’s far superior to our last platform. However, WCFM customer service fails at every level. I have been waiting for a response for more than a week on issues I’m having with WCFM not being up to date with WordPress… and today I’m facing a CRITICAL issue. Responses take forever to receive, and they are inaccurate or incomplete. Right now my vendors cannot update anything in their stores which makes me look really bad.

    I’m looking at other platforms to replace this one and will move everything if they don’t help me solve the issue that appears to be THEIR fault… and moving is the last thing I want to do! But if my vendors can’t use their store, I’m essentially out of business!

    Hi,

    This can happen if you use Wordfence. If you have it installed:

    1 – Look in WordFence tools – look for the item listed with a red dot (probably listed as /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php). Use the eye icon on the right hand side of the listing to view it. Then click “Add param to firewlll allow list”.
    2 – Then, for good measure, set Wordfence to Learning Mode. WordFence > All Options > Basic Firewall Options > Learning mode.
    3 – Log in as a Vendor / Test vendor, edit a product and submit. All will be working fine.

I had reached out to their support within the week about vendors not being able to upload products and they didn’t have any helpful solution. Just randomly came across your comment here, followed the instruction and it now works fine!
