Love WP – please look at my site and what I did with WP …so far.

  • Hey all,

    I have tried other CMS and I really like WP. Easy to use; however I’m hoping for future changes made to WP that will enhance the already excellent CMS.

    Anyways, please look at my new site (2 weeks) https://www.complaintbucket.com. It’s a place where anyone and everyone can vent and maybe get some results too.

    I’m not spamming and I resent that statement. How can one look at the site and answer this legitimate question without inserting the damn link? You’d have to scroll to the top to see the link. Seriously, tell me the appropriate location for the link?

    The appropriate place for you link is in your original post about your problem or when some asks for it. It’s also the the link of your name so no one has to scroll anywhere.

    Now that I can see it I have to say I’m not impressed at all. The design is average and the content is, well, trumped up and unfitting if you ask me. For instance this video: https://www.complaintbucket.com/?p=112. There isn’t that much garbage laying around (looks to me like someone just took a handful of junk and tossed it on the ground for the purpose of the video) and I see NOTHING in the water (the poster complained about garbage in the water) at all. The rest of the grounds are immaculate. One of the “bad customer service” videos seemed more to me like the customer was harassing the clerk into being defensive and the other consisted of one word which I didn’t understand and in no way seemed rude. I don’t see a whole lot of “complaining”. I DO see a lot of vidoes from Youtube that would be more fitting for an “I can’t believe this happened” site.

    We appreciate your honesty and I must say that’s the harshest review yet. Actually, it’s the only harsh review. LOL. But hey, everyone is entitled to his opinion.

    I saw the garbage in the water. Yes, the video isn’t good so you must look closely. The grounds did look good – but who wants to look at garbage.

    I agree about the customer service – the guy did look as if he was harassing the lady.

    By the way, if you look real close you’ll see that is not the ground it is sea weed on top of the water. The person video tapping does show the horizon and you’ll see the boats too in the water: look again https://www.complaintbucket.com/?p=112

    Good use of WP as a site open to community and readership submissions, instead of an Author-To-Reader Blog.

    Thank you and I appreciate the input. I thought WP would work and it has lived up to all expectations. I have site in other forums for reviews and the reviews have been excellent.

    There’s something a little wrong with the font. Size maybe? I compared it to the font in this thread and I prefer it instead. I also compared it to the font in the body of an article in the NY Times, and I prefer their font. Size, spacing, or maybe both…something doesn’t quite agree with me.

    I appreciate the Post. The font can be changed in seconds in my CSS; however that’s the size for that theme.
