Loved it now can’t get support. Company is gone???

  • I really liked this theme when I built ColoradoDogPhotography.com. I just purchased a second time to rebuild MattLitPhoto.com and now I wish I hadn’t invested money with Smartcat.

    1) The menus are not working on mobile devices and this has me furious. I am not getting the help nor response to my support tickets.
    2) I recall Smartcat telling me they would be adding Jumbotron feature to multiple pages and they never did this.

    Pretty sure I’ll be abandoning this theme and flushing the $70 I spent.

    Hey Smartcat…change my mind?!

    Follow up 2/21: All attempts by me and many others to reach Smartcat have failed. I have reported this theme especially since this ghost company is still accepting payments.

    UPDATE: See the thread I started. The company is defunct and yet they are still accepting payments. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY! I have reported them to WordPress.

    Ok…addition to this…Jumbotron has stopped working. ALL photo galleries have stopped working.

    Any attempts to reach the company are impossible. In fact, I can not find reference to it on facebook, linkedin or any other searches.

    Anyone? Really frustrating. I keep receiving emails from dumbcat to address my ticket. When I click through and log in I find that my ticket has still not been addressed. Can’t believe I wasted money with this company. Attempts to reach through facebook also fail.
