• I’ve made myself a new website with the Hitchcock theme, called Travelot.be. I managed to play around with the theme and I’m proud of the outcome, but I have one problem/question.

Although I upload high quality pictures as featured image I get low quality pictures on the homepage. I there a way to fix this? They are very pixelated at the moment.

    Thank you very much.

The blog I need help with is travelot.be.

  • Try adding a new large image that measures at least 508px high, use the image crop facility within your WP media library to create a square 508*508px image (click Edit Image at the bottom-left) and use that for one of your posts – it should improve the quality.

Let me know how you get on.

Thank you for your reply. I don’t see where I can change the thumbnail of the post. I can only change the featured image, which need to be vertical for the layout.

    I’m having similar issues… https://www.shootmup.com/

I did make a square thumbnail (and even the featured image is very high quality, 560x560px) but the main picture is blurry – it takes a completely different image as background – not the real url to the thumbnail.
