lowercase site name in google search results

    When I search my site in google it comes up as only the lowercase url instead of my actual site name. Even when I tried to update the meta description, it didn’t seem to change the site name. Other sites have their actual site name like: “I love Hot Dogs” instead of “Ilovehotdogs.com” (this is how mine looks). I can’t figure out how to correct mine. Can someone offer some guidance? Thanks!

    I checked the page source and confirmed that you had added the Site name as “Seed Side Hustle“. The reason why Google shows the URL would be mostly because Google didn’t recrawl the website again once after you have made the changes.

    So we recommend you provide signals to Google by using the following actions:

    • Allow Google to re-crawl the pages within your site. Use Inspect any URL tool within the Google Search Console.
    • Be sure to resubmit your sitemap to Google, as it will encourage them to crawl your site and update the search index. This guide explains more: Submit Sitemap to Google

    Allow time for re-crawling and re-indexing. Remember that it may take several days after publishing a page for Google to find and crawl it.
