Lowest version of PHP and MySQL that WordPress 2.7 supports

  • My host has PHP 4.2.3 and MySQL 3.2
    Will this be satisfactory for WordPress 2.7
    (specified requirements were PHP 4.3, MySQL 4.0 or higher)

  • WOW! That is way too old. I would say ditch your host. PHP4 as reached End Of Life and MYSQL is now at version 5.

    Yes the minimum requirements are PHP 4.3 and MySQL 4.0
