LP login form shortcode suddenly stopped working

I recently tried to update LearnPress and Woomcommerce plugins but it was such a shit show with lost functionality after updating that I restored my site to it’s last backup. After the backup there now seems to be an issue on the login page for my course website. When a student enters their username and password it doesn’t log them in, it just redirects them back to the site homepage. Please help! None of my students can log in or access the courses they have paid for – very unhappy clients!!!
