LS speed cache plugin change css stylesheet url after purge cache

the file name is generated based on md5sum of file content

so if your JS/CSS changed , then the generated file will given new file , to avoid user’s browser cached old content

the moment google crawled your sit, it has one set of files, but when users accesses your page, it will receive latest file URI.

@qtwrk hii, it is created lots of 404 error for old css urls after purge. Google search console is showing 404 errors for these css urls in crawl stats.

think it otherwise , if crawled page can not change its static resources, that’s bit of weird , isn’t it ? like you can not even change your page style change your themes , change your plugin,, your home page images …etc

alternatively , you can use this to your robots.txt

User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-content/litespeed/css/

to bypass these files , since they are not main content of pages

@qtwrk Disallow these files causing more issues. I think it is bug in LS Cache plugin. I have disabled all js css optimization setting in LS speed cache. I have installed autoptimize plugin for css minification & it is working fine. Autoptime plugin also created css url but it is not changing css uri after clear cache like LItespeed plugin. Just want to know it is compatible with litespeed cache plugin bcoz i want to use both. There is delay js option for adsense ads in LS speed cache plugin is useful.

well , as I have explained, the file name is generated based on the content of file , so if content changed, the name changes with it

yes , you can use AO with LSCWP, as long as you don’t enable same features on both sides , like if you enable CSS optimization in AO, then disable same ones in LSCWP , or vice versa.
