    Hi,

So I finished migration to OLS however, when I activate CDN option under LSCache (I had CDN active under WP-Rocket before that) some of the images displayed wrong thumbnail, basically they show the original image (large size, uncropped). Everything went back to normal once I disable CDN. This is a strange issue that I couldnt debug

    Your help is appreciated!

    Hi,

Here is the report number: SOCGAVSO

However I think this one report was after I restored my database to BEFORE activating CDN.

I can fix the layout issue with LSCache v2.9 but not with 3.0 so I had to restore database

    Hi,

You mean the CDN issue was on v3 ?

If you check the link , what is expected CDN URL , and what is the incorrect CDN URL you saw ?

    Best regards,

No, it happens for both version.

    My CDN URL was chymeochy.b-cdn.net

What happen was images for post was normally rendered at a smaller size to fit the front page dimension which is automatically done by WP whenever I use image. However, once I activate CDN feature in LSCache, it automatically load the full size version image and break the layout.

In v2, if I deactivate CDN, things went back to normal but in v3 nothing change so I had to restore database

    Hi,

    OK

May I know the origin URL and CDN URL that is problematic ?

This is the orginal one as cached on CDN by Bunny CDN plugin: https://chymeochy.b-cdn.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/store-close-720×540.jpg

This is the image that will be placed instead if I activate CDN in LSCache: https://chymeochy.b-cdn.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/store-close.jpg

Not sure if I answered you correctly

    Hi,

    Yes, but by design

    whenever LSCWP sees a URL

    like https://something.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/store-close.jpg

it should only replace the “something.com” to “cdn.something.com” , the part after hostname will be left intact.

Please enable advance debug log on your IP , and see what is the original URL it detects and rewrites.

Hi, the original URL is https://chymeochy.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/store-close-720×540.jpg on the homepage

and LSCache CDN is enabled, it changes to https://chymeochy.b-cdn.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/store-close.jpg

I know it should only change chymeochy.com to chymeochy.b-cdn.net and it works like that will all other CDN plugin like WP-Rocket, KeyCDN, Bunny CDN

In fact, when I turn off CDN in LScache and install Bunny CDN plugin, everything works as normal. That’s why I want to report the bug.

    Hi,

Could you please enable advance debug log to your IP , purge all , access home page ,

then check the debug log , and post it here ?

particular the part it says about CDN URL rewritten.

Please look at report number LUNUMXRT

I have enabled advance debug, using only LSCache on a dev site.

You can check the difference between the correct rendered site at chymeochy.com and the incorrect render at dev.chymeochy.com
