• Have searched all the forums for several hours and have yet to find anything that looks like a remedy. So here goes.

    Fresh install of 2.3.3. w/Customized Theme

    All is well with the exception of the <!--more--> tag. It does in fact work as it should but the coding used is just a tad on the weird side.

    <a href="https://192.168.0.12/?p=9#more-9" class="more-link">
    <p class="serif">Read the rest of this... &raquo;</p>
    <p></a></p>

    Notice the placement of the closing anchor tag and the linking code.

    The Default theme works OK, as do other themes of my own design but, this one’s about to drive me nuts.

    Seems there is no difference in placement of the <!--more--> tag nor is there a difference in which WYSIWYG function is used.

    The “Post” loop has not been modified (yet) and all other placements and displays are perfectly fine.

    I’ve checked the theme on two computers (Linux/Windows) in a half dozen browsers. Does not seem to be a browser issue nor a parsing issue. It is definitely a “Theme” issue and I’ve run out of places to look.

    Thanks for the help!
