<div> to <p> – fixed yet?

  • I know this was a problem with previous WordPress releases, but when you add a new page, then go back to edit it, it changes my <div>’s to <p>’s.

    Is it the TinyXHTML Editor I need to change or has 2.5.1 fixed this?

    Please advise.

  • well, if you need to be using HTML tags in your posts, then I think you’re much better off avoiding the visual editor entirely. Just turn it off in your profile.

    the version of tinyMCE included in 2.5.1 is certainly improved, but its not perfect.
