• Is there anything specific I should be doing to post code examples on my website? Using the <pre> tag still seems to parse the (X)HTML included.

I’ve disabled the visual editor, tried the Raw HTML plugin, but nothing seems to be working.

Doing a view source reveals that the <pre> tag is stripped and replaced with a paragraph tag.

[EDIT] I’ve seen the ‘Save my <pre>‘ plugin, but would prefer not having to load an additional plugin unless it’s really needed.

Still haven’t found a work-around for this problem; bumping thread.

I broke down and installed ‘Save my <pre>‘, but even that didn’t work. What am I missing?

    I figured out a work-around.

Head into your Users configuration panel and enable the Rich Content Editor. Using the WYSIWYG editor, you can paste in the code without it parsing.

Guess this’ll work for now until I find a viable solution.
