Guys, this is the easiest thing in the world! Just go to plugins, add a plugin and search by “counter”. There are a ton of them. You’d have to be half-braindead to not know how to do this.

Your code has to be present on every page of the site. Visible or invisible doesn’t matter, as long as the code is present in the source code when you view source for a given page.

With a blog template this means whatever you put there will apply to every single page rendered using that template. You need to replublish the blog for the template changes to be reflected on all pages.

I am assuming the blog template applies to all pages, even to archives.

In order to hide the StatCounter details to public view one can install this plugin. It will not affect either the code on the blog or design of the blog. So no one can view the installed counter on the blog but admin of the blog can view all the StatCounter details.
