LWA stopped working (no modal overlay) after upgrade to 4.7.5

  • Hi,

    The overlay stopped working as soon as I updated wordpress to 4.7.5 and LWA from 3.1.6 to 3.1.7. I tried rolling back to 3.1.6 but still doesn’t work now.

    There are no JS errors in console. Instead of the modal overlay appearing it redirects to:

    /wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fmysite.com%2F&modal_login=true#login

    Everything was working fine before. Any ideas what might have happened?

  • Hi,

    It’s possible this is a conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?
