m4a doesn't work

  • I am trying to play a wav file and all looks well but when clicking the play button there is no sound. I checked, WP settings to make sure wav is included, tried compressed wav49 and uncompressed, file plays on my computer etc. WP version 4.2.2

    This plugin can only play the formats that default WordPress embeds can play, and then only on browsers that have support for those format. I would recommend converting your files to MP3 as they seem to have the best x-browser support.

    Yes, I figured that out, and you are right, if you don’t want to use Flash, you will have to convert to mp3. That works fine with WP 4.2.2, on Firefox, IE and Chrome latest versions. Personally I am using WordPress core to do this now but sites I have built for others I have used your plugin. It is easy to use and understand and works great! I have been using it for a long time.
