• Hello.

This review is totally based on the fact that this will be a part of the core. It relay changes to much. Is there something people (and me) relay hate when they buy a new phone, get a new computer, or get anything new technological at all. Is that it will take time to learn, time some people don’t have, or are willing to spend.

Just new interfaces is a big reason for people not switching or upgrading OS for example, or getting that new phone. This might be the future of editing and building, but its a WAY to big of step to part of a new core. Many people have had their wordpress-installation for ages, they know where to find thing, and edit things etc

Do I poll and I guess the result will be: The longer you have used wordpress, the more you will be against a big change like this.

Step by step, or just a plugin.

That’s certainly likely to be true for some people – I like the way you expressed this.

Personally I’m at the opposite end of your position. I’ve been using WordPress since 2009 and really looking forward to this long awaited (in my case) change from a cumbersome PHP based editing experience (based on TinyMCE) to a modern JavaScript UI (based on React).
