For what purpose?

Same way you upload any media.

I hope it’s as simple as that. Every thing I’ve read says that the code has to be re-written. There is free app called “Divine” that does it for you, except it’s only for Windows.

I upload Photoshop files created on a Mac all the time. I create the JPG (make sure to flatten the image if you have layers) — save it — then upload image into WP. No problem — no conversion necessary.
