• Spent a few hours and deactivated…
Madness UX, fields work partially, not responsive editor (I went crazy on 14″ laptop).
No shortcodes to embed and no clear tutorial how it connected with Google Top stories subject.
Maybe after a few next updates I will try it again

@alexobi Thank you for your feedback. Hopefully, we can improve your experience with the plugin.

We are looking into adding shortcode and you can certainly monitor its progress in this GitHub issue here.

You can test your Web Stories URL using this Rich Results Test tool which shows which rich result types were found on the page, as well as any errors or suggestions for your structured data. For more information about how Web Stories appear across Google, you can visit this documentation. You can also peek at this guide on how to create successful stories.

If you prefer, you can post a topic on our support forum regarding any issues you are encountering and we will be glad to look into it.

    Hi There

I found this plugin very helpful, where you can represent your stories using shortcode

@amandeep94 @alexobi We’ve recently added a shortcode to our current version (1.1.0)! You can now insert a shortcode when you publish a new story and create a new post. Hope this works for you! Thanks again for the review.

Hello! And where can I find/generate this shortcode? Thank you!

You can currently use the shortcode like this:

    [web_stories_embed url="url to your story"]

Or with some more optional attributes:

    [web_stories_embed url="url to your story" title="My Awesome Story" poster="URL to the story cover/poster image" width="360" height="600" align="center"]

Great thanks! When using this shortcode, the lighthouse report says: <frame> or <iframe> elements do not have a title

    Failing Elements
    iframe
    <iframe class="story-player-iframe" allow="autoplay" sandbox="allow-top-navigation-by-user-activation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox allow-forms allow-modals allow-pointer-lock allow-popups allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-top-navigation"></iframe>

@urbanmoa could you perhaps open a new support request and share the URL to a page where you embedded the story? It’s likely that this is is a known thing, but would be good to make sure.
