• Installing this plugin was one of the things I most regret ever having done.

    After setting up a few simple steps (according to the plugin’s panel recommendations) my site simply crashed, and there was no way I could fix it – I’m actually trying up to now!

    And when I say crash, it’s not like it had an error. No. It was actually DOWN. Nothing loaded, it was a blank page. Same for the admin. Everything was gone, and I am trying to fix things at the FTP, still with no luck.

    I do not recommend this plugin AT ALL.

  • Are you sure it was the app and not a gazillion other plugins? BTW, you should be able to FTP in and delete the plug in directory. That should help.

    Yep, pretty sure it was this plugin. Everything was working just fine until I installed it, and after I got rid of it everything is alright again.

    Just deleting from the FTP plugin directory didn’t work, I had to delete the changes it made to my .htaccess and some other stuff. I really don’t recommend it.

    @julianap,

    Are you using other security plugins before plug in this one?

    Nope…
    Actually, since this one made my site crash, I am looking for another. If anyone has any recommendations, please send them! ??

    We have exactly the same issue over here. What have you had to change in order to get you site up again?
