• I searched the private tags but I can’t find anyone with an identical problem. It’s so simple — I made some posts private, thinking I would need to access them again, and sure enough I do.

But they immediately disappeared from my dashboard/”manage posts” screen and now I can’t find them to save my life, including being logged in as Admin.

I *can* view them outside the admin tool, using the original known urls, when I’m logged in as admin — I just can’t find them within the admin tool so I can make them public again.

Oh, and I’m using 1.5.1 and can’t upgrade to 2.x yet.

    Thanks for any ideas ….

  • Well if you are not logged in as the Post Author you won’t see those posts. If you don’t have anyway to edit those posts then consider using phpMyAdmin to check the wp_posts table and insure the post_author is set to your user ID on those posts.

It is recommened you have a backup before doing this!!!!

Hmm, I made those posts as admin, and I’m not seeing them logged in as admin … I wonder why?

I’ll try the DB approach; thanks …
