It’s not a lazy load. I deactivated each and every plugin. Also your plugin worked just fine with my test url this morning…. with all the same plugins, etc. It has to be your plugin.

What’s the test url where we can see it working?

Also: You say that our plugin worked for you. Why do you still assume it’s because of our plugin that it doesn’t work now? Our plugin didn’t change in the meantime.

It doesn’t work in the meantime either… Perhaps your plugin isn’t friendly to urls changing? The dev site is down now that the live site is up.
Does it work with PHP 8? Nothing else changed on my site except the url.

URL change shouldn’t make a difference. Yes, it works with PHP 8. Our plugin didn’t change in the meanitme. Something else must have.

I’d suggest that you further explore lazy load as possible cause. We’ve had this before as reason why the icons don’t show. It shows in various locations in the source code of your website that lazy load is used, here are some more: https://monosnap.com/file/djn7JKF9sChtIYLThOC4dsd2LUreFt.

Super strange I can’t see that in my source code at all. I was trying to locate it so I could research in there. I searched monosnap.com, etc. I get nothing in the source for the homepage.

Aha – the monosnap URL is just a link to a pic. Please click on it.

THAT MAKES MUCH MORE SENSE NOW! I will look into this. But you think this is the issue?

Looks like WordPress 5.5 automatically uses lazy load. Am going to try and code and disable it.

Ok thanks for the info, let us try to replicate the issue from our side as well.

Let me know what you find out. I am just using the default social menu on my site for now then.

Hi @pwalderzak08! We can’t reproduce the same issue on our demo website. Could you please check the lazy load issue once again?

As we didn’t hear any reply in last days, I can assume that you resolved the issue.

Please feel free to open a new topic if I am wrong!
    Thank you ??
