I am stuck. I want to put an adsense ad on my homepage, under a post.

But I have no idea where to insert the code. What theme file do I need to put the code in, and where?

UPDATED: I found the file where I put the code in, the only problem is, I don’t know where to put it. When I insert it in, ads are all over the place.
