Magic fields is confusing, need help…

Even after using Magic Fields on several sites over several months I’m still finding Magic Fields confusing. And the documentation seems incomplete so it’s even more frustrating trying to locate support.

The latest issue I’m experiencing breaks down into two parts that I believe may be connected. So I’ll share them both here with the hope that someone can identify them for my and explain what’s going on.

1. The first issue is that the code sample below is no longer displaying the data stored in a Write Panel I created.

2. The second second issue is that I only want this Write Panel to appear as a panel on the “Property Management” page. Yet in addition to displaying there, it also displays as a sub menu item beneath “Pages”.

Now, what’s weird to me is that even if I create a record within the Write Panel on the “Property Management” page, it won’t appear on the page that is display when you select that unusual sub item beneath “Pages”. Can anyone help?
