Magic Post Display Crashes upon Activation

    Hi,

    I installed version 1.2.12 on WordPress version 6.0.2 and when I activate it the site crashes requiring renaming of the plugins folder to restore functionality.

    Looking at the debug log:

    [05-Oct-2022 14:02:25 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function Carbon_Fields\Helper\mb_convert_case() in /var/www/rutherfordleblang.com/wp-content/plugins/magical-posts-display/vendor/htmlburger/carbon-fields/core/Helper/Helper.php:395

    I’m using PHP 8.1. Could that be the problem?

    Follow-up:

    PHP mbstring extensions for 8.1 were not installed.

    sudo apt-get install php8.1-mbstring

    Resolved the issue.
