    Hi,

    I am on 1and1 and have put this in my .htaccess file

    AddType x-mapp-php5 .php

    This is what is reported to me in

    PHP v5.2.14
    GD: bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
    Magic Quotes GPC: On

    Is that safe? I thought MQ was disabled by default in PHP5?
