magnifier "scan" area on non-square images

Update: I changed the image to be square, which is tedious, we’ll have to change about 2000 images prior to uploading. Although that kinda fixed the problem, there has to be another solution for this…

And on top of that with the square image in place another issue comes up. It seems the style for the yith_magnifier_mousetrap has an offset of about 100 pixels. Meaning I can’t magnify the upper half of the image.

Is that theme related? Could you please have a quick look at my site and tell me what’s going on?

have changed recently plugin settings for image size or zoom box? If this is the case, you should regenerate thumbnails. To do that, you can use this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

I did change the image size but I also did regenerate the thumbnails. Zoom magnifier does not work on the entire image.

Funny enough, if you add the first bottle of wine twice to the cart, on the second click a page comes up where the zoom magnifier works. This is when the wine is sold out. Unfortunately I can’t post the link here. You will have to go and add it twice to your the cart to see it for yourselves.

I am at a loss here… Any help/hint/direction is appreciated at this point.

at the link you supply the zoom seems to work properly.
Anyway there isn’t any correlation between adding products to cart and the zoom feature on the product page.

Have you tested it with some other browser or from another device?
