Mail chimp red box error when trying form vaildation

  • Hi guys. I just installed the new mailchimp plugin. Everything works great except for the form validation in Safari (Im not sure about IE yet).

    If an email is incorrect or empty, a light red div covers the whole form and says “please provide a vaild email address.’ Once its on screen, theres no way to get rid of it without opening a new window. Has anyone come across this before?

    ok please dont waste any time on my question. The error was a result of some custom <span> tags I put into the form code.

    Thanks to anyone who was going to help though.
