Mail doesn’t get deleted after posting

Hi, so i have a question: I get an E_ERROR(memory error) leading to the connection file, after i let Postie check for emails and make the posts.
The Posts does get made, but the email doesn’t get deleted after. when i did set that option to YES.
I already checked the hosting memory, and that is set to maximum, so it should be plenty of storage.
I haven’t seen any fixes to this on this forum, so thought I’d make a post.
Anybody know how i can fix this issue? Thanks in advance
