Mail for the new order does not arrive more

One of the first things you could try is switching the Email Sender Options to “[email protected]”

I have a similar problem – the reset password email is not sending although it was before I have tried using WP smtp mail but it isn’t working. The other mails appear to be working it’s just the password reset that isn’t. I am using up to date installs all software.

I just installed the plugin “email log” and I can see that there is no email being sent for the password reset form – but I can see the purchase emails have sent (and are received) is it possible that the reset password link is attempting to use php mail() instead of smtp mail? How can I fix this?

I’m not using gmail myself – I have an stmp email account that is on a definitely clean server.

Actually – I just fixed my issue and it might be useful to someone in future so I’ll post my solution here anyway. My template file mytheme/myaccount/form-lost-password.php was out of date and replacing it with the current one sorted it out.

Update: putting the plugin WP-Mail-SMTP emails from the contact form of the site are (first did not work) but woocommerce still does not send emails
